Endure Obstacles of Hardships

 Endure obstacles of hardships

2 Timothy 2:3-6 KJV

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

We are called to be good soldiers of Jesus Christ. We are enlisted as His soldiers. We are dedicated to His cause. The flag we wave is the flag of Heaven. Those around us should have no questions about our loyalty as His soldiers.

We shall endeavor to DESCRIBE A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST.

1. We must begin with this fundamental — he must be loyal to his King.

2. He is obedient to his Captain’s commands.

3. To conquer wilt be his ruling passion.

4. A good soldier is very brave at a charge.

5. A good soldier is like a rock under attack.

6. He derives his strength from on high.

Our number one priority as soldiers is to please the Lord! God is most pleased with us when we follow our orders, we are diligent at our post, we are vigilant as watchmen, we are loyal to our cause, we fight to win, and we are steadfast at all times.

Being a good soldier requires effort. We must realize that we are not called to be part time soldiers. Let us go onward and forward for the cause of Christ! Lift His royal banner and do not let it suffer loss. Let it be known we are in the Lord’s army, and as His soldiers we are earnestly contending for the faith once delivered to the saints. https://icaremission.jimdofree.com/the-prophetic-voice-message/

In study the life and ministry of Christ. He would go from place to place preaching the Good News, healing people of their sicknesses, and delivering those who were oppressed. The Gospels give us clear insight into His motives:   And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. (Matthew 14:14, emphasis added) And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them…So He began to teach them many things. (Mark 6:34, emphasis added) Why did Jesus heal the sick and deliver the oppressed? He was moved with ...
